AN INCIDENT causing traffic in Tilehurst has been cleared following delays in Reading this morning.

At around 8.15am, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident towards the bottom of Norcot Road, westbound.

Fire officers attended a black hatch-back car that had considerable damage to its front, including a crumpled bonnet.

The incident was causing tailbacks on Norcot Road, which led to further traffic on Oxford Road in both directions.

The traffic has now cleared as the incident is being dealt with.

Reading Buses posted to social media at around 9am to say that routes 15/15a, 16, and 17 were seeing delays of up to 20 minutes due to traffic.
