TICKETS are on sale for a classic thriller to be performed by a borough amateur dramatic group.
The Triangle Players have been entertaining the local community for over 70 years.
Their Spring show is The Stranger, by Agatha Christie.
Jan Charlton from the Triangle Players, said: “Everybody loves an Agatha Christie, so people should enjoy this thriller.
“We have a devoted audience of fans, family and friends, but we would love more people to know about what we’re doing.
“Despite our posters, Facebook page and website, not a lot of people know that we’re here – Tilehurst’s only amateur dramatic group.
“We have a lot of fun together, performing thrillers, comedies and pantomimes.
“As well as attracting new audiences, we’d love more folk to come and take part.
“There’s plenty to get involved in, whether on stage or behind the scenes.”
The Stranger can be seen at Tilehurst Methodist Church Hall, School Road, from Thursday, May 16 until Saturday, May 18.
Doors open at 7.30pm each evening, with an additional matinee on Saturday at 3pm.
Tickets cost £8, or £7 for concessions, and can be found at Vendela Rose Floral Design, Tilehurst, or at: www.ticketsource.co.uk search for Triangle Players.
