IS IT the Lynx effect? Thieves smashed the doors of a Woodley town centre store just before Christmas and stole a quantity of men’s fragrances.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The incident took place in the early hours of Friday, December 23, to the branch of Superdrug in the Crockhamwell Road shopping precinct.
The main doors to the store, which is close to the Centre Stage area of the pedestrianised precinct, were smashed in.
They have since been covered over and protected by police tape, and a security guard is present.
Customers are being asked to use a rear entrance to access the store while the investigation continues.
