A HOME repairs company providing employment opportunities for and serving the over 50s is expanding its activities into Berkshire.
The 50plus has been providing a range of home and commercial repairs in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Oxfordshire since 2001.
Now, with Woodley Resident David Birch, 55, as its new area manager, the company is extending its handyman services to Reading, Bracknell, and Wokingham.
David, 55, has 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and this week begins serving residents and commercial clients within a 10 mile radius of Woodley.
He said: “I am excited to begin serving my local community and helping to extend the reach of The 50plus services to people across Berkshire.”
The 50plus supports home improvements, focusing on repairs, improvements, and adaptation services, particularly for older adults in the community.
Founder and director Roger Runswick, said: “We are thrilled to have David join The 50plus team.
“This hire marks a strategic step in our expansion plans across Berkshire.
“We strive to employ and serve older people and organisations in the local community, helping with anything from odd jobs to regular maintenance work.
“Whether you need your gutters cleaned or have an issue with your boiler, don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
