Thames Valley Athlete Vikki Aust completed a gruelling test in the Brutal double Iron Man Triathlon Challenge.
Being the only female contestant to take on the challenge out of 24 participants, Vikki completed the race in under 38 hours.
The 36-year-old, who belongs to Thames Valley Athletes, was just one of 18 athletes to complete the race, with six participants not finishing the race.
The race sees athletes tackle a 4.8mile swim, 230 mile bike ride and a 50 mile run.
She placed in 10th place posting an overall time of 37 hours, 52 minutes and seven seconds.
Vikki completed the swim with a time of 02:35:04, a bike time of 19:54:56 and lake laps time of 11:11:06.
Vikki said: “What an absolutely epic weekend at the Double Brutal in Snowdonia. After signing up for this three years ago, I can finally announce that I have completed a double ironman. What a crazy experience.”
The Brutal Extreme Triathlons is renowned for being one of the world’s toughest triathlon events and was voted as the world’s toughest triathlon by 220 triathletes in 2017.
The brutal triathlon begins in the Lake Padarn, while the bike course takes the athletes through the hills and scenery of the lake.
The run then tests runners to take on an undulating trail around the lake and up and down Wales highest mountain, Snowdon.
