THAMES Valley Police is appealing for two specific witnesses to come forward following an assault causing grievous bodily harm in Reading.
Between around midnight and 4am on Monday, August 25, a boy in his teens was approached by three men while crossing a bridge near Reading Festival.
wo of the offenders punched the victim in the face and kicked him when he fell to the floor.
The offenders are described as three white men, at least 6ft 2ins in height, aged in their thirties and of large build.
Two members of the public later found the victim, and looked after him before walking him back to the festival site.
The victim sustained facial injuries and concussion and required hospital treatment, he has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Catherine Evans, said: “I am appealing for the two members of the public that assisted the victim to please come forward to see if they can assist us in the investigation.
“I am also appealing to anyone else who witnessed this incident or has information that may help us to please get in touch.
