A LOOK at body image from a faith-led perspective is to be the subject of a discussion evening being held in Reading later this month.
Café Théologique is to host Sarah Pritchard, a parent, foster carer, and post-graduate student at Sarum College, Salisbury.
She is currently studying for an MA in Christian spirituality, with an interest in feminist and trauma theologies and their challenge to both evangelical theology and culture.
She will speak on the theme Gloriously Fat: Christian Theology and the Fat Female Body, afterwards there will be an opportunity to discuss the theme.
The event takes place from 7.30pm at Zerodegrees bar in Bridge Street, Reading on Monday, October 23.
Entry is free and there is no need to book, and the talk will also be available to watch online via the Zoom platform.
Café Théologique is hosted by the University of Reading Chaplaincy.
