Caversham Horticultural Society prepares to host its annual Spring Show

Budding botanists will have the opportunity to present their best blooms for the chance to win in a variety of categories, should their specimens be deemed worthy.

This year, some of the categories up for grabs include best floral displays, including daffodils, tulips, and pot plants.

But with 14 different flower classes to choose from, as well as baking and floral art classes, there will be a chance for everyone to bloom.

There will also be an opportunity for children to get involved with drawing and creating mini gardens.

Entry is free, with the competition open to all RG4 residents.

The event will take place at Caversham Baptist Church, on Saturday, March 28.

Entrants must bring their exhibits to the hall between 11am and noon on the day.

Doors to the show will be open from 1pm to 3pm.

Growers, bakers, and artists wishing to take part in the Spring Show can fill out an application form on the society’s website.
