CAROLS is the focal point of a new concert from the South Chiltern Choral Society.
The event, held on Saturday, December 16, will have Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols at the heart of the programme.
The choir will be joined by The Hill Primary School Choir for the singing of some other favourite carols.
The musical director will be Helen Bilkey, and they will be accompanied by Ian Westley on piano and Helena Pizura on the harp.
The event takes place from 7.30pm, at Queen Anne’s School in Henley Road, Caversham.
Tickets cost £16, with under 11s free. They can be bought in advance or on the door.
