A popular motorcycle dealership has announced it is set to close.

In a post on social media, Lind Harley Davidson Reading said it has decided to consolidate its Harley Davidson business on Wokingham Road, close to both Lower Earley and Woodley.

“As a result, we have entered a period of consultation with a likely closure date of September 28.

“This decision has not come lightly, and has come after a period of serious consideration.”

The business confirmed it is open as normal until the closure date.

Many local bikers and others, responding to the news, expressed their thanks, and support for the “outstanding” team.
