A GROUP that helps people to improve their mental and physical health, is inviting the borough into its beautiful Earley garden.
Since its launch in 2003, Ridgeline Trust has been helping people access the benefits of horticultural therapy at its accessible garden, to enable them to recover and develop their skills, boost their confidence and enjoy time with others.
During 2023 to 2024 the group helped 70 people to enjoy the benefits of horticultural therapy, ran 196 horticultural therapy sessions, and provided over 3,500 hours of horticultural therapy.
Ridgeline is always keen to hear from volunteers who love people, gardening, and being outdoors, willing to support SEN (special educational needs) students enjoy time in the garden.
There are opportunities to volunteer for three hours a week on Wednesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings during term times.

The free event will take place at the charity’s garden, 25 Whiteknights Road, Reading, on Sunday, March 8, from 2pm until 4pm.
Free parking is at Hamilton School, with free disabled parking at the garden itself.
