Tilehurst saw a spectacular festive send-off on 23rd December as hundreds of children and families gathered at Tilehurst Triangle to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s Santa Tour.

Visitors enjoyed a festive programme that included singing carols with local bands and church choirs, while mince pies and mulled wine added to the seasonal cheer.

The tour, organised by Pangbourne Rotary Club, proved to be a huge success, raising an estimated £9,000 for charity and leaving countless smiling faces in its wake. Organisers expressed their gratitude to the public for their generosity and to all those who helped make the annual event possible.

“This event has once again brought our community together in celebration and charity,” organisers said. “We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.”

There is still time for those eager to support local causes to take part in the next fundraising event, the Woodcote 10K, scheduled for Sunday 11th January. More information can be found at woodcote10k.org.uk
