The starting point for checking what falls within your Property are your title deeds. However, the boundaries shown on title plans only show the ‘general’ position of boundaries.
It is always sensible to try and approach your neighbour if you think there is a problem with the boundary between your properties. But, sometimes disputes arise which are unavoidable.

Such Boundary Agreement can then be registered with HM Land Registry against your property and your neighbours’ property.
