A READING town centre cocktail bar celebrating a Latin American country is hoping to keep dancing later into the night.
The owners of Revolución de Cuba on Friar Street have applied to Reading Borough Council for permission to stay open until 2am from Thursday through to Saturday, and 12.30am the rest of the week – an hour later than its current licence permits.
Any changes allotted to the Inventive Service Company may be short-lived as the site it occupies is to be demolished and rebuilt as a 163-bed Leonardo hotel.
Comments on the application should be emailed to: licensing@reading.gov.uk by Thursday, October 10. Submissions are public and may cause a licensing meeting to be held.
