READING Pride is seeking volunteers for this year’s Love Unites Festival, taking place in September.

Reading’s Pride parade and festival is run entirely by volunteers, and is seeking willing participants to help with the event.

Volunteers are needed for helping to marshal the parade, which means walking and chatting with those taking part, as well as helping with general tasks and upkeep during the festival.

There is also help needed on the Pride Xtra stage, where Iota Events will bring performers from in and around Reading to the fore.

Volunteers will help with stage set-up and assistance, attending the market stalls, and giving out promotional materials during the event.

Reading Pride is also seeking volunteers to help with the clean up on the following day.
