The new look for a Thai eatery that took over from a BBQ restaurant in Reading has been approved.
Eat Nua opened up at the restaurant unit vacated by Bluegrass BBQ this summer.
Now the company has won permission for changes to the appearance of the restaurant.
The look for Eat Nau is just one of the applications that have recently been approved by Reading Borough Council’s planning department.
Elsewhere, the shopfront and a new door for the upcoming Five Guys at The Oracle Riverside has been approved, and flats above businesses have also been given the go-ahead.

Thai restaurant designs approved (PL/25/0975)
The Eat Nua Thai street food business has won permission for its advertising at the restaurant next to The Oracle in Gun Street.
Bluegrass BBQ closed there in January, clearing the way for Eat Nua to open and conduct a partial rebrand in August.
While signs have been replaced, painted lettering promoting Bluegrass remains on the side of the building.
Eat Nua has won permission to paint ‘Thai Street Food & Bar’ in black lettering, replacing the old advertising.
Shopfront work for new Five Guys (PL/25/1117 and PL/25/1119)
Five Guys is moving ahead with its takeover of the All Bar One at The Oracle Riverside.
Approved plans show an entrance and exit and a further glass door next to the outdoor seating area, which will have three four-seat tables and three two-seat tables.
The burger chain will replace the old All Bar One signage with its trademark red and white branding.
The advertising plan shows new street-level signage, two canopies and an illuminated square facade sign.
Beauty treatment rooms converted into flat at Cemetery Junction (PL/25/1015)
The owner of a building in Wokingham Road at Cemetery Junction has been given permission to convert beauty treatment rooms into a one-bed flat.
The building contains both the new Cafe Yolk and a unit next door, which was previously occupied by a music studio.
Rooms on the first floor, which were previously designated as beauty treatment rooms, will now be converted into a new flat with a double bedroom.
The new occupant would access the flat from a door at street level.
Flats to be created in quiet street (PL/25/1229)
Three new flats are set to be created in Boult Street, a quiet residential cul-de-sac located near the much busier King’s Road.
The building was occupied by the Reading Beauty Salon on the ground floor with offices above it.
Now the property, 13-15 Boult Street, is set to be converted into three flats.
Each will come with a double-bed, bathroom and kitchen and living facilities.
