THE Reading Half Marathon took place on Sunday, April 3, with more than 10,000 runners entered.

Former world heavyweight boxing champion, David Haye got the race underway at 10.15am for the elite runners with thousands more following through the streets of Reading.

This year marked the 40th anniversary of the event as it returned to its traditional spring slot after moving to November last year due to the pandemic.

Full report and picture special in next week’s edition of Reading Today, Wednesday, April 6.
