Reading FC Under 21s Women rounded off their league winning season in style with a thumping victory over Arsenal FC U21 Oaklands.
The Royals enjoyed a spectacular campaign in the National South Premier where they finished top of the table.
Reading picked up 15 wins, one draw and lost just two league games all season which saw them finish in pole position, eight points Barking Abbey who were their closest challengers.
Reading FC Women’s U21s manager Liam Thorne said: “We spoke about it as a group and I think whilst it’s great to have done the cup and the league, I think winning the league means a bit more to us.
“The cup you only play a handful of games, but a league requires a consistent level of performance and this group has been that in buckets.
“We’ve won the most games, scored the most goals and hopefully we’ll concede the fewest.
“This year, this team has been really, really good and I’m proud of every single one of them. The way they’ve juggled the demands of training as well as all their academic studies, we couldn’t have asked more of them.
“It’s what the girls deserve, but again it’s about giving them the platform to be able to show what this pathway can give to young aspiring players.”
