Reading FC Women have announced that they will be playing their home match at Slough Town’s Arbour Park during the 2024/25 season.
The Royals became the first top flight women’s side in England to announce that they would be playing all of their home matches at the same stadium as the men’s team back in 2020.
However, just four years later the side has now dropped down the football pyramid due to lack of funding from current owner Dai Yongge.
The owner made the decision to switch the team to a part-time model last season following their relegation from the Women’s Super League to the Women’s Championship.
Reading will be competing in the Southern Region Women’s Premier Division next season alongside local sides including Ascot United and Woodley United.
A statement from Reading FC says: “Arbour Park is a modern stadium that boasts a range of amenities to ensure comfort and convenience for all visitors. Key features of the stadium include:
Car Parking: Ample parking spaces are available for fans, ensuring easy access to the stadium.
Covered Stand: A covered stand provides shelter, ensuring fans can enjoy the game in comfort regardless of the weather.
Bar for Refreshments: A fully-stocked bar is available, offering a variety of refreshments to keep you fueled throughout the match.
Disability Car Spaces & Areas in the Stand: Dedicated parking spaces and stand areas for disabled fans ensure that everyone can enjoy the matchday experience.
Designated Smoking Points: There are designated smoking points outside the ground for those who wish to smoke.
On-site Toilets: Modern, clean toilet facilities are available on-site for all fans.
Plenty of Signage: Clear signage throughout the stadium ensures fans can easily navigate their way around.
