Reading FC winger Femi Azeez is set to complete a transfer to Championship side Millwall within the coming days.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a whole host of clubs throughout the summer, including Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle, but it appears that Millwall have won the race for his signature.

It has been reported that Azeez will complete a medical with the London side today (Wednesday) ahead of finalising a transfer.

The Royals triggered an extension in Azeez’s contract in the summer to extend his deal for another year.

He missed out on the matchday squad in Reading’s opening day draw at Birmingham which sparked rumours of an exit from the club. However, Ruben Selles played down any transfer talk and said that he was suffering with a back injury.

Azeez returned to the bench in Saturday’s win over Wigan and played the final half an hour of the match.
