Reading FC have rejected transfer advances from Championship side Millwall for winger Femi Azeez.
It has been reported that the Lions had shown interest in purchasing Azeez, but have had any enquiries knocked back by the Royals, who are determined to keep hold of him.
Azeez is under contract for another year at Reading after the club triggered an option to extend his deal by an extra year at the end of last season.
The 23-year-old made a significant contribution to Ruben Selles’ side in League One last season with eight goals and nine assists.
Azeez had been subject to interest from several clubs last January as the Royals looked to raise funds to try and improve their financial situation.
Despite interest from clubs, including Derby County, the Royals held onto Azeez and look determined to do the same throughout this summer transfer window.
