READING FC owner Dai Yongge has made payments for two outstanding HMRC tax bills after the club had been issued a winding up petition.

Dai Yongge had failed to pay tax bills for both September and October which resulted in the club being placed back on the EFL’s embargo list

The club had already been served a winding up petition earlier in the season before being cleared in June for a late tax payment.

The owner is currently in discussions with several different parties over the sale of the club which has been ongoing for the past month.

The Royals are back in League One action tonight when they host Bristol Rovers with Ruben Selles’ side currently bottom of the table.
