READING FC owner Dai Yongge has again failed to pay an outstanding tax bill to HMRC.
The off-field financial issues continue to plague the club who have already been deducted four points this season.
The club has lost a total of 16 points since Dai Yongge took control of the club in 2017 and have suffered points deductions in each of their last three campaigns.
Yongge failed to pay a HMRC tax bill back in June which led to them being served a winding up petition, which was eventually cleared the following month.
Reading have also had issues with paying staff on time on three separate occasions last season which led to subsequent points deductions.
With the latest wages to be paid at the end of this month, the club could face further punishments if the owner fails to make payments on time.
Yongge was charged by the EFL last week after failing to comply with demands to deposit 125% of the club’s monthly wage bill by September 12.
