HUNDREDS of Reading FC season ticket holders turned out to watch the first-team in an open training session at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
The Royals fans had the chance to meet their heroes who stayed after the session to sign autographs and take selfies with the supporters.
Ruben Selles’ side have managed to record back-to-back wins in League One after losing their first two matches.
The club has been plagued by off the field issues, but are hoping to turn a corner on the pitch to try and boost their position.
Elm Park Royals podcaster Paul Mann said: “With a young team it’s starting to look more optimistic and with Selles we’ve got a plan, which we haven’t had for a long time. That’s all the fans want, just a glimmer of hope.
“I love the high press, the quick counter attacking and the dynamic passing. Defensively we still look a bit shaky at times but I’m glad he shook up the team after the Port Vale experience.”
The Royals are back in league action on Saturday when they face Exeter City away from home.
