Reading FC first-team coach James Oliver-Pearce is expected to join Ruben Selles’ coaching staff at Hull City as the manager departs the Royals.
It is understood that Selles returned to Bearwood Park training ground today to say farewell to all of the staff as he moves on.
It is also expected that Oliver-Pearce and also Tobias Loveland will both join Selles as part of his set-up at Hull.
It is now expected that Reading Under 21s boss Noel Hunt will be given the job left vacant by Selles.
News broke yesterday that Selles had become the frontrunner for the vacant Hull job and had been granted permission to speak to them.
The deal has developed quickly with a compensation package agreed between the two clubs.
The Royals fans are now left with more uncertainty than ever with the club in turmoil and now without a manager.
The club has been in a takeover saga for more than a year with absent owner Dai Yongge putting the Reading up for sale more than a year, but with no deal currently close.
Despite all the off-field troubles, Reading sit in 6th position in League One.
Hull City are currently in the Championship relegation zone in 22nd place.
