READING CITY have the chance to end their season with a trophy when they face Horley Town in the Southern Combination Challenge Cup final on Friday night.
The Cityzens have the chance to finish their season with silverware as they compete in their first ever senior final and the match will be broadcast live by Hospital Radio Reading.
City enjoyed a strong league campaign which saw them finish in fourth position on 63 points which earned them a spot in the play-offs.
Their hopes of promotion were scuppered with a defeat to Bedfont Sports, but they now have the chance to end their season on a high in the cup.
City made it to the final with an emphatic 4-0 victory at Camberley Town in the semi-finals.
After reaching the final, Reading City manager Simon Johnson said: “Great performance in the end, scored goals at the right times and deservedly into the final.
“A chance to lift some silverware to finish a record breaking season, which these boys fully deserve. One more to go.”
The match takes place on Friday at the Rivermoor. Tickets for adults and 16-17’s are £8 and £4 for concessions and under 16’s.
