BUS LINKS to London from Reading are set to see a boost to the frequency of services, Reading Buses has announced.
The number of buses serving The London Line and Flightline routes, 702 and 703 respectively, will double later this month.
From Monday, March 25, there will be up to four buses an hour between Windsor, Slough, and Langley during morning and evening peak times.
Services toward London will also see an increase, departing up to every 30 minutes during morning and evening peaks.
There will also be an increase in journeys between Bracknell and Heathrow, increasing to as often as every 30 minutes during the mornings and evenings.
The Flightline 703 service will see more late buses, with increased services between midnight and 3am, and will also see some changes to timetables to help improve punctuality.
In addition to timetable changes, Reading Buses is introducing three new high-specification buses for the 703 route, featuring USB and wireless charging and a dedicated luggage space.
Reading Buses Chief Executive Officer Robert Williams said today: “We are delighted to confirm that the new timetables are in response to growing customer numbers and are being introduced in time for the busy Easter holidays.
“The new timetables will include extra buses in the morning from London towards Windsor and Legoland, as well as additional journeys back in the evening.”
