A READING-based law firm has held a showcase event aimed at helping the planning industry become more inclusive.
The Blagrave Street offices of Blandy & Blandy was opened up to women working in the planning sector for the gathering.
Hosted by associate solicitor Sabah Siddiq, from the firm’s Planning & Environmental Law team, the event included a presentation on Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
Solicitors Harjinder Brah and Louise Low who discussed title matters to consider when preparing a planning application and the judicial review process.
The event was organised with Women in Planning, an independent network with the aim to promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive planning industry.
Co-organiser Alice Davidson, associate director at Boyer and co-chair of the WIP Thames Valley Committee, said: “What an informative evening hosted by Blandy & Blandy, with engaging presentations on important topics for those working in the planning sector and an opportunity to network.”
