MEMBERS of the Reading Bach Choir are preparing to head to the Renaissance and Baroque periods this weekend, and they hope you can join them.
The singers will be at St Andrew’s Church in Caversham for their autumn concert, The Souls of the Faithful.
The event features performances of Tomas Luis Victoria’s Requiem from 1605, JS Bach’s motet Jesu, meine Freude (Jesus, my joy), and Heinrich Schütz’s Selig sind die Toten (Blessed are the dead), composed in 1648.
The music starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, November 25, and the venue is in Albert Road.
Tickets cost £15, or £5 for under 18s.
