Charity of the Year, Parents and Children Together, sponsor Roc Search
An “incredible” organisation supporting women and children has been nominated for the Charity of the Year award.
The nominator of Parents And Children Together (PACT) said: “I have been a volunteer with them since December 2022 and get such a rewarding sense of pride every time I work with them.
“This adoption and trauma support charity, based out of Reading, is just incredible. The impact they have on the lives of women and children is amazing.”
In 2023, the charity placed 78 children in loving, permanent families through their adoption work and supported 181 women through their work at Alana House, they said.
“These lives have been changed forever from this and that shouldn’t go unnoticed. PACT’s staff and volunteers make all of this possible and they always do this with a smile. Everyone is so reliable, kind and committed to making a difference. I absolutely love supporting them!”
The award is sponsored by Reading-based international recruitment firm Roc Search.
