The “amazing” band of staff and volunteers at Citizens Advice Reading have been put forward for Charity of the Year for their efforts to help people in the town.
Their nominator said: “They listen, they understand, they don’t judge, they explain what might be and help worried people to achieve this, if that’s what they want or need.
“The band of staff and volunteers do their everything to help those who need help in Reading.
“Such altruism, committed and warm professionalism is also joyful. And what a difference it makes to those who leave the service lighter and with a plan,” they added.
“Amazing and right here in Reading.”
