A partial closure order has been granted for a property on Brixham Road in Whitley following ongoing concerns about anti-social behaviour.
Officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NHPT) South secured the order earlier today after reports of persistent nuisance and disorder linked to the address.
A closure order is a legal measure that allows authorities to shut down a property that is being used in a way that causes serious disruption or harm to the surrounding community. The order restricts access to the premises, permitting entry only to individuals specifically authorised by the court.
Police say the action is intended to provide immediate relief to nearby residents and prevent further incidents. Breaching a closure order is a criminal offence and can result in arrest.
Officers have urged members of the public to continue reporting concerns about anti-social behaviour so that appropriate action can be taken.
