POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Reading this week.
Thames Valley Police are seeking members of the public who may have seen an incident of assault which took place at the junction of Prince Wales Avenue and Edinburgh Road on Wednesday, July 12.
At around 8.15pm, two parking attendants were assaulted and threatened with a knife by multiple offenders, who made off in a white Vauxhall.
The first offender is described as an Asian man aged in his thirties, of slim build, and approximately 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall.
He was wearing a black t-shirt and a black hat during the incident.
The second offender is described as an Asian man aged in his thirties and of slim build, wearing an orange top and cargo shorts at the time of the incident.
A 37-year-old man from Reading has been arrested in connection with this incident but has since been released on bail until October 12.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Stephen Johnson of Reading CID, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this assault to please come forward.
“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this or may have a CCTV camera to please check the footage to see if it shows anything that would assist our enquiries.
