Police release CCTV images in public appeal following London Road assault

THAMES Valley Police has released CCTV images of a man they are seeking in connection with an assault.

At around 4am on Wednesday, October 26, a group of people were in the forecourt of the BP garage in London Road, Reading, when the offender approached.

He seriously assaulted two of the people, a man in his forties and a woman in her thirties, by kicking them and stamping on them.

The male victim suffered a fractured cheekbone and the female victim sustained a fractured eye socket and a fractured cheekbone.

The victims were treated at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, but have since been discharged from hospital.

Investigating officer, PC Natasha Black said: “We are releasing these CCTV images of a man because we believe that he may have vital information in connection with this violent assault.
