THAMES Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to following an incident of assault.
At around 11.15pm on Friday, October 11, a woman was followed by a group of women when getting off of a bus on Oxford Road.
The women had been verbally abusive to a man on the same bus.
While approaching the junction at Little John’s Lane, the victim was punched in the face and subjected to continued verbal abuse.
The victim sustained cuts to her eyebrows and bruising to her face which required hospital treatment.
She has since been discharged.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman they are urging to come forward and are appealing for any information which could aid the investigation.
Investigating officer PC Jemima Hunt said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the individual in the image as they may have vital information to assist us with our enquiries.
“If you are the person pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
