A 11-YEAR-OLD has gone missing from the Reading area, and police have launched an urgent appeal to find him.
He was last seen yesterday evening (Wednesday, January 24), around 5.20pm.
He left his home, and police said he could be in Whitley, or have travelled to Marlow or High Wycombe.
He was last seen wearing a black and white T-shirt with a large skull motif, black cargo trousers with a smiley face on one pocket, a black zip-up hooded top with neon X-box motif on the front over full torso, and plain black unbranded trainers.
Inspector Nicky Hamblin, based at Reading police station, said: “I’m issuing this appeal for help in locating [him] as we’re growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“He acts older than 11, and has a slim but fairly muscular build for his age.
“He is thought to be in the Whitley area of Reading, but we also have information that suggests he may have travelled to Marlow or High Wycombe.
“Naturally, given his age and the amount of time he has been missing, our concerns are growing for him.
“I would ask anybody who sees him to please contact us on 999, quoting reference 43240036845 or report sightings or whereabouts via our dedicated missing persons’ portal.”
