POLICE were called to Reading town centre on Saturday night after reports of an assault, that led to a victim being injured.
Three police cars plus a van were seen on Friar Street just before 6.25pm on May 4.
Eyewitnesses saw a person being restrained by officers, and other officers talking to a group of people.
Now, Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, they said: “At around 6.25pm on Saturday, May 4, we received reports of an assault with injury on Friar Street, Reading.
“Officers attended the incident, and are investigating.
“If anyone was in the area at the time, and has any information please call 101, quoting 43240206519.”
