POLICE are appealing for help locating a man after a couple were attacked while walking their dog in Reading.
Thames Valley Police has released images of the man they would like to speak to and are asking anyone who may recognise him to come forward.
It follows an incident which took place in Palmer Park, Reading, on January 8, where, between 7.50am and 8am, a husband and wife were walking their dog.
Another dog became aggressive towards their dog, leading to the couple using a dog spray in an attempt to contain the situation.
The owner of the aggressive dog then physically attacked the couple, including smashing their phone on the floor.
One of the victims sustained bruising to their face but did not require hospital treatment.
Police have released images of the man and his dog as part of the appeal.
Designated Investigator Rebecca Concannon, based at Reading police station, said: “Although the images are of poor quality, I am hoping that someone recognises the man pictured, especially anyone from the local dog walking community who regularly use the park.
“I am appealing to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch with us as we believe he may have vital information about this incident.
“If you are pictured, please come forward as soon as possible.
