THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of kidnapping in Crowthorne.

At around 9.30pm on Wednesday, September 25, a man met with three other people at The Prince Pub in Crowthorne.

They left the venue and walked onto High Street, where the victim was bundled into a vehicle.

The offenders drove with the victim in the vehicle for around 25 minutes, until the victim managed to escape at Binfield Road, Wokingham.

The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

The offenders are described as a tall, white man, of medium build and around 30-years-old; a white man in his early twenties, of slim build, with a grade two haircut; and a white man, of stocky build in his mid-thirties, with a blonde beard.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Martin said: “I understand that this offence may cause concern in the community but we believe that the individuals involved are known to each other and that this was a targeted and isolated incident.

“We are investigating this as a priority and we believe there is no threat to the wider public.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have information or dash-cam, mobile phone or any other form of video footage that may assist our enquiries.
