THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Reading.
Between around 4.40pm-4.50pm, the victim, a man in his 50s, was involved in an altercation with three males near to the junction of Liverpool Road and London Road in Palmer Park.
The victim was hit over the head with a metal pole and has a number of personal items stolen, suffering serious head injuries.
The victim has not been located, and it is therefore unknown if he required hospital treatment.
The offenders have been described as three Asian males.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Adam Ruddlesden of the Priority Crime Team based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to get in touch.
“We would also like to appeal to those residents in the surrounding areas to check CCTV and doorbell camera footage.
