THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Reading on Tuesday, October 25.
At around 1.15pm officers were called to Oxford Road, following a report of an assault.
Police officers attending found a man who had a wound to his face.
He was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
The offender was described as a white man with short dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a light and dark camouflaged jacket.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant James Jackson, of Force CID based in Reading, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in investigating this incident.
“We would ask anyone who was driving along Oxford Road at around 1.15pm today and has dashcam footage to please come forward.
“Additionally, we would ask anyone with CCTV footage to please check it and get in touch if it shows something relevant.
“Anyone with footage can upload it below or if you have information, you can call 101 quoting reference 43220480220.
“Members of the public may see an increased police presence in the area while we continue our enquiries.”
