THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in Tilehurst.
At around 6.45pm on Tuesday, January 21, a dark-coloured vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at the junction of Waverley Road and Tilehurst Road.
The victim, a man in his thirties, was using the designated zebra crossing at the junction, but has suffered injuries to his shoulder as a result of the collision.
He remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
The driver of the vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene.
Investigating officer PC Benjamin Taylor, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please contact the force.
“I would be particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage of the incident which could help us to identify the vehicle that failed to stop to please provide this to us.

“I would also urge the driver of the vehicle which did not stop to get in touch with us.
