READING FC’s League One fixture with Port Vale was abandoned after fans stormed on the pitch in the 16th minute to protest against owner Dai Yongge.

To signify the amount of points the club has been deducted under the ownership of Dai Yongge, fans took to the pitch to get the match delayed and eventually postponed.

The game had been delayed in the opening minute when fans threw tennis balls onto the pitch, as they have done on numerous occasions this season.

Once the 16th minute came around, hundreds and then thousands of supporters made their way onto the pitch armed with banners to show and voice their anger against the club’s owner.
