Reading FC earned three points as Harvey Knibbs held his nerve from the penalty spot in the 94th minute to beat Rotherham United 2-1.

Knibbs had given the Royals a first-half lead before Sam Nombe levelled from the spot early in the second-half.

However, it was Reading who kept persisting late in the day and were rewarded when Knibbs scored from 12 yards out with virtually the final kick of the game.

The result puts Reading just one point off a play-off place.
