A BOROUGH Rotary Club has recently installed its new president.
Brian Davies was elected following the recent resignation of Ed Daniel for personal and professional reasons.
Brian will serve as president for the rest of this Rotary year, which ends on June 30, 2026.
In his acceptance speech Brian told the group that his objectives for the year were to enrich the lives of people supported by Pangbourne Rotary Club, to grow the membership, to assist president-elect Marius Hopley to develop the group’s future plans, and to have great fun and fellowship.
The group takes part in fundraising events, and enjoys an interesting and varied programme which includes guest speakers, social activities and outings.
Rotary, they say, is about enjoying being together whilst enriching the life of others.
Members come from all walks of life to enjoy the fulfilment of being part of a vibrant club that makes a big difference to its community.
The club is always keen to hear from people of all ages, and from all walks of life, to join the club to contribute their energy, talents, and professional skills and make a real difference to the lives of others.
The Rotary Club of Pangbourne meets at 41 High Street, Theale, every Monday evening at 7pm.
