The owners of a London Road shop have applied to Readig Borough Council for permission to install a new frontage.
The Amma Convenience Store has been closed for several months, and is set to become a Big Bazaar.
The owners want to replace the previous yellow sign with a new grey sign board.
Their planning agents said the new sign will be a ‘like for like’ replacement of the one it will replace.
