READING-based law firm Boyes Turner has appointed Barry Stanton as its new managing partner.
And he’s no stranger to the role, as he was appointed interim managing partner in September last year, taking over from Jonathan Grigg.
He has been with Boyes Turner for 23 years, acting for both national and international companies across engineering, leisure and hospitality, professional services, software and technology, and logistics.
“As a firm, we’ve set ourselves ambitious growth targets,” Mr Statnton said.
“These mean actively expanding our offering, continuing to strengthen our existing teams, exceeding our ESG goals, especially those we’ve set in relation to Equality Diversity and Inclusion, and investing in technology.
“As a go-to law firm for entrepreneurial businesses, I want our people to feel connected to Boyes Turner’s vision for the future, which has always been about ensuring our clients thrive. It’s a privilege to lead this incredible team.”
The appointment has been welcomed by others at the Abbey Street firm.
Kim Milan, senior partner and head of personal injury, said that Mr Stanton was “overwhelmingly the first choice” for the role.
“As Boyes Turner enters a period of strategic growth and developing new services, we’ll benefit from the solid leadership and commercial direction Barry has shown in abundance already,” they added.
