A BELOVED children’s classic is returning to McDonald’s Happy Meals with a new range of books and toys.

From today, Monday, February 12, Mr. Men and Little Miss characters are back with new plush toys included in the restaurants’ children’s offerings.

Fan favourites Mr Happy, Mr Tickle, Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Naughty, and Mr Funny are joined by five fellow characters in cuddly toy form.

The new promotion also celebrates individuality with a series of Mr. Men and Little Miss books which explore issues such as anxiety, resilience, diversity, and kindness.

Customers can choose to opt for one of the exclusive toys or one of the four books available and will also receive book tokens to celebrate World Book Day 2024.

With more than 90 characters, the Mr. Men and Little Miss series has sold more than 250 million books in the 50 years since its founding by the late Roger Hargreaves.

The series is continued by Mr Hargreaves’ son, Adam, as the best selling children’s books in France and the second-best-selling Pre-school series in the UK, published in 28 countries in 17 different languages.

Happy Meals are at a reduced price of £1.99, down from £3.49, when buying through the McDonald’s App until Tuesday, March 26.

The Mr. Men and Little Miss promotion is also running until Tuesday, March 26.
