A GROUP for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities is holding a Reading fundraiser that will tease the taste buds as well as the grey matter.

Me2 Club’s quiz night with pizza promises a fun evening while raising money for the charity.

The group aims to tackle social isolation and loneliness of children unable to access mainstream leisure activities, helping youngsters aged five to 19 to take part with trained volunteer ‘buddies’.

Joining sports clubs, uniformed groups and drama classes, gives the young people a chance to build independence and vital life and social skills.

The event will take place at Reading Hockey Club, on Wednesday, October 22.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the quiz games beginning at 7pm.
