A CHANCE to see a different side to Reading is on offer every weekend between now and October.
Matilda Too is a barge that travels along the Kennet and Avon canal, and takes 45 minutes to do so.
Trips depart at noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm on Fridays during school holidays, Saturday, Sundays, and bank holidays.
The barge moors up at Star Lane Wharf next to Queen’s Road car park, and then travels along the river to The Oracle, Reading Gaol and the Abbey ruins.
Pre-booking is advised as space is limited, and trips can be cancelled if conditions do not permit.
Places are £10 per adult, £6 for children and free for under threes.
